Borton Paper Knives
These letter knives are made in the shape of a Bloodwood leaf and out of a variety of timbers mostly Eucalypt trees which are a feature of the Australian landscape. While there are hundreds of varieties, they are all recognised by their drooping narrow leaves and woody fruit capsules, which are commonly referred to as ‘gum nuts’. The leaves are well known in Australia as ‘gum leaves’.
Michael Borton uses a variety of native timbers to shape these exquisite letter-openers into Australian gum leaves creating a corporate gift that is both a pleasure to look at and a delight to use.
