Owned by Mike and Liz Murray, ButtonWorks has developed from a home base where they started making timber craft buttons in 2004. The range has expanded as they have had fun designing and creating new products incorporating their own copyrighted images.
ButtonWorks manufacture their product in on the Mornington Peninsula, across the bay from Melbourne. “With respect for our small staff, our community and the environment, we remain committed to creating and maintaining jobs here at home and are assisted by a great young team Ally, Hannah, Adrian, Neil, Kelly and Keli who prepare the timber and pack the orders in between studying.”
Made from Australian sustainably harvested timber veneers, all pieces are supplied in a variety of timbers. Packaging in a natural cardboard box. Each piece is named with the illustration.
Coasters are 85mm diameter and 4mm thick and come in round and square, in three patterns animals, birds and flora, (Australian wildflowers) and a variety of different timbers marked on the back of each box.
