Crested Pigeon – Small

The crested pidgeon comes in a variety of colours. The base is formed on a pottery wheel and the lid is hand sculptured and painted by Anthony – this process takes many hours.
This is a presentation piece and should be cared for as such – wash in warm soapy water. Sized at cm tall x cm across and cm deep in the bowl.

Fantail Pigeon – Small

The Fantail pigeon exhibits all the showmanship with this hand painted tureen,the bowl is thrown on a pottery wheel as is the top which is then hand sculptured in to its present shape which is characterised by a fantail composed of 30 to 40 feathers abnormally more than most members of the pigeon family, which usually have 12 to 14 feathers.

Sized cm x high and bowl depth

Anthony spends hours hand painting each piece individually with glaze before the piece is fired in a kiln to make the piece food safe – it is recommended to not use for cooking using it as a presentation piece. Clean up in warm soapy water.

The beautiful hen sits on a its base which is thrown on a pottery wheel as is the top which is then hand sculptured in to its present shape of a chook – the chicken – Gallus gallus domesticus – a domesticated fowl – as one of the most common and widespread domestic animals, there are more chickens in the world than any other species of bird.
Anthony spends hours painstakingly hand painting each piece individually with glaze before the piece is fired in a kiln to make it food safe.
These beautiful presentation pieces are fabulous for just that – presenting food to its best advantage it is recommended not to cook in thses pieces and to cleanup with warm soapy water and possibly best not to use the dishwasher – Enjoy.

The clock is 48cm tall x 22cm wide x 16cm depth

Anthony has become reknowned for his uniquely, original presentation lidded dishes – he produces exquisitely glazed lids, that are sculptured and then painstakingly brush painted before final firings. The base is normally turned on a pottery wheel and fired in one basic colour – but the lid is formed using a series of methods to produce a unique work of art. The pieces are food safe and fabulous as presentation pieces and although fired at extremely high temperatures we do not recommend using them for cooking.

Pie Steamer

The Pie steamer is made in the traditional shape of the blackbird with Anthony’s fine artwork decorating the bird.

A lovely functional cooking accessory used when baking pies to release stream from under the pastry lid of the pie. It is 9.5cm high and 5cm wide.

The chicken is a domesticated fowl and as one of the most common and widespread domestic animal ther are more chickens in the world than any other species of bird. Chickens have been and still are a sacred animal in some cultures and deeply embedded within various belief systems and religious worship.

Sized 32cm diameter and 20cm tall with the bowl 9cm deep, it can be used as an open tureen for serving soups or stews or serves as a presentation dish for any food.
